Ui, da hat die Ariane von den WhiteTapes ja was ganz Tolles aufgetan. Denn auch wenn ich kein großer Fan von Remixes bin, die ein oder andere Alternativ-Version hat auf jeden Fall ihren Reiz bzw. einen Unterhaltungswert. Auch bei den 32 Remixes, die Maximo Park über die Zeit gesammelt haben, ist das ein oder andere Juwel dabei. Es handelt sich hierbei um Neuinterpretationen der Songs ihres letzten Albums “Quicken The Heart”, und diese Songs verschenkt die Band komplett auf ihrer Homepage.

After many months of uploading, streaming, downloading, listening and embedding, we are proud to present the fruits of ours, and many other North East based artists labours. We have received over 30 remixes in response to our call out to new and underground bands, producers and DJs living in the North East of England. We have been overwhelmed by the quantity and even more so by the quality of the tracks. Please listen to as many as you can and feel free to download them at your leisure.
