Paul Smith macht’s alleine

I’m just alone / with these thoughts. Der Frontmann von Maximo Park wandelt auf Solopfaden und bringt im Okotber sein Debüt “Margins” heraus. Zusammen mit Freund Andy Hodson (The Matinee Orchestra/Warm Digits) werkelte er wohl seit vier Jahren in Newcastle herum, und plötzlich realisierte Smith, das da ein Album entstand. “After recording about five or six songs over the course of the last few years I realised I was making an album.”

Smith geht in eine leicht poppigere Ecke als seine Hauptband, aber seine Gesangslinien und natürlich seine Stimme sind unverwechselbar.
