Das letzte Album von Tricky hat mich nicht so recht überzeugt. Irgendwie war das so ein unausgegorenes Ding. Findet er selber übrigens auch: I was trying to prove something to people, trying to do something to please other people and also myself at the same time, which is never going to work. … My last two albums, I thought they were good, but I realize now they weren’t. This album is about me finding myself again.
Das neue Album “False Idols” erscheint Ende Mai auf seinem eigenen Label False Idols in Kooperation mit !K7 Records. Und dieser Vorbote gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut.
