Vor etwas über einem Jahr ist mit dem Free Music Archive eine Webseite an den Start gegangen, die Songs unterschiedlicher Künstler zum kostenlosen, legalen Download anbietet. Mit dabei u.a. Nine Inch Nails, Everybody Was In The French Resistance…Now! , Parts And Labor, Kurt Vile, Crystal Stilts, Deerhof, Vivian Girls, The Sea And Cake, Panda Bear, Low, The Shivers, Emma Peel und und und. Ein Großteil der Songs sind Studio- oder Liveperformances, aber von guter Qualität.

Ja, ich weiß, ich habe bereits vor einem Jahr darauf hingewiesen, aber durch diesen Tweet bin ich wieder darauf gestossen und klicke/höre mich gerade durch das Angebot. Inzwischen sind es micht mehr 5.000 Songs, sondern 21.765. Dazu gibt es noch eine ganze Menge drumherum, eigenes Profil, Playlists, Charts…….alles, was man von einem modernen Musikportal erwartet.

Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
