Last.fm: komplette Songs und Alben anhören

As of today, you can play full-length tracks and entire albums for free on the Last.fm website.

Nach imeem schon der zweite Streaming-Anbieter, der alle namhaften Plattenlabels an Bord hat. Und zwar in den USA, in Großbritannien und in Deutschland. Während der jetzt gestarteten Betaphase könnt ihr euch Songs bis zu 3 Mal in voller Länge anhören (indem ihr einfach die Cookies von Last.fm in eurem Browser löscht auch öfter). Diese Betapahse dient der Vorbereitung eines Abo-Services.

Momentan tun sich allerdings noch große Lücken auf, wenn es um “Titel in voller Länge” geht. Das wird sich hoffentlich schnell ändern. Ich bin auf jeden Fall auf den angekündigten Aboservice und dessen Konditionen gespannt.

Die Musiker werden übrigens direkt von Last.fm bezahlt, und zwar abhängig von der Anzahl der gespielten Songs. Finanzieren soll sich dies über Werbung.
