Ich liebe ja solche Zufälle. Da höre ich mir gerade das neue Album der White Rabbits an, und was sehe ich da? Die Band hat sich unlängst in den Räumen des SPIN Magazins eingefunden, um zwei Songs ihres neuen Albums zu performen. Ganz großartig, vor allem “Rudi Fails”.
True, the group performed in front of a dark backdrop, with eerie lighting, and their percussive, piano-tinged indie-rock sounded pretty moody at times. But their Tom Waits-on-coke tales of urban nightlife were downright haunting. Danceable, even. And we love their dual-drummer thump, and how their vocal harmonies add nuance to these gripping musical arrangements.
